A charming and decorative pencil and watercolour sketch of the Vale of Radnor. The sketch is very capable and detailed, and will have been drawn by a talented amateur. The view is contained within the most beautiful piece of paper lace, cut and embossed in intricate scrolls and lattice work. The whole is in very good condition just some very minor browning in areas. The drawing is mounted in the original frame which has the most wonderful worn look, it is made of gilt wood with cast metal corners. The whole is full of charm and decorative appeal and is ready to hang. C.1880.
