Product Description

Oil on canvas landscape scene of deer in Charlecote Park, Warwickshire. A charming scene of deer in the parkland it is signed C.Walter to the lower right but ascribed to T.E.Brook on the reverse. I have been unable to identify either artist and it may be whichever one painted the scene was an artist associated with the estate. The painting is in good condition having been professionally cleaned and a small hole repaired. The work retains the original gilt frame which is in good untouched condition. The whole has great country house decorative appeal and is ready to hang. C.1870
