A charming and decorative Art Deco period silver plate golfing themed toast rack. The toast rack is whimsically designed using various golfing motifs, golf balls make up the feet and handle and golfclubs are used to create the sections for toast. The piece is marked with a Superior S P Co mark, this was the American company of Wilcox using the Superior Silver plate company title. The piece is in excellent untouched condition just usual wear. The toast rack is a great piece of American and Art Deco design with a wonderful golfing theme. C.1920.
