Product Description
A superb Victorian watercolour of a young lady feeding the turkeys. The work is exceptionally detailed, especially the male turkey, and the figure is beautifully painted too. The painting is signed to the lower right: Robert Crozier, an artist that exhibited between 1854 and 1882. He was based in Manchester and was president of the Manchester Academy, he also exhibited at the Royal Academy. The painting is in good condition and framed in period gilt frame with period gilt mount. The whole is an excellent example of Victorian watercolour painting and ready to hang. C.1870.
