Make an enquiry about this item
A fine pair of Victorian oak hall chairs with painted heraldic panels. The chairs stand on turned front legs, with shaped seats and elaborately carved backs. The heraldic panels are simply yet dramatically painted in black with a white chevron and small fleur de lis. The pair are both in good condition with some professional repairs having been made to make them very sturdy and useable. A great pair of wonderfully decorative chairs that would work well with any interior scheme. C.1850.
