A charming and beautiful interior scene by Scottish artist George Davidson 1872-1910. The painting shows a stunning interior in tones of pink and blue, with a breakfast table set for coffee and tea, and a French window in the background looking out to a garden. The painting is in oils on canvas which has been laid to board. The work is in excellent untouched condition. The painting is framed in a vintage fine quality ebonised frame which really works well with the colouring of the artwork.
The painting is signed to the lower right ‘George Davidson’. George Davidson was a Scottish artist based in Aberdeen he had a short career exhibiting between 1903-1910 but was highly successful with works hung at The Royal Academy, The Glasgow Institute of Fine Art, and The Royal Scottish Academy.
