Fine late Regency rosewood sewing and writing table

A fine and usual late Regency work or sewing table with secretaire drawer. The table stands on a trestle base wonderfully carved and shaped with scrolls and stylised acanthus. The top has a charming little rosewood gallery with slender turned baluster supports. The secretaire drawer is beautifully fitted with rise and fall slope. There is also a box below that slides out and would have been used for sewing. The whole is in good original condition with some minor old repairs. The rosewood has a great figuring and good patina. A charming, decorative and usable little period table. C.1830.

We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf.
