A fine quality and unusual German Cuckoo clock with moving eyes feature. The clock is of a fine quality with thirty-hour movement. The simple square case features an enamel dial with a painted scene depicting a rather ferocious looking animal, perhaps a wildcat, Lynx or even a wolf which as the pendulum swings moves the eyes. The clock is in good restored condition, though I think this restoration was some time ago, and is in good original condition with later weights. A very unusual and decorative clock. C.1870.
