Product Description

A wonderful WMF Art Nouveau period pin tray. The tray is beautifully sculpted with a little Dutch girl returning a ducking to it’s mother swimming on a pond. The details are wonderful, I particularly like the ripples surrounding the duck on the pond. There is beautiful Art Nouveau scrolling foliage around the edge of the pond. The whole is in good condition, the odd minor mark and some light wear to the plating in the base of the tray. There is a WMF mark on the reverse dating to C.1910. A wonderful little piece of sculpture by this iconic manufacturer.
Overall sizes in inches:
6 wide
3 6/8 deep
