A fine and untouched Regency period giltwood convex mirror. The mirror is of typical design with a nice deep circular frame with beautifully moulded detail. The candle arms are the original and retain the carved wood pineapple attachments. the mirror shows no signs of having had anymore carving. The convex glass is the original as is the ebony slip. The mirror retains all the original gilding, gently worn in the areas you would expect. The mirror as a whole is in great untouched condition, there are some very minor areas of small repairs but on the whole is in great country house condition and ready to hang. C.1820.
