Product Description

A fine and large Victorian silver plate tray by Elkington the greatest makers from this period. The tray is typically high Victorian in taste with elaborate moulded edge with trailing husk garlands, the handles replicate this husk motif. The centre is chased with a design of scrolls and has a fine armorial crest to the centre. The whole is just the best quality and it is in excellent condition. The tray is fully marked on the reverse with a date letter for 1868 and a design registration mark for 1859.
