A fine pair of Victorian silhouettes depicting a husband and wife. The pair are beautifully observed, painted in black with some highlights in gold. I suspect the works might be quite provincial in original, perhaps Scottish or Welsh. The pair retain the original fine quality rosewood frames which have very unusual fruitwood slips. The pair are interesting and decorative pieces. C.1840.

We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf.
