An exquisitely painted oil on board landscape scene. The work depicts in great detail a typical pastoral idyll, with a watermill and a river, at sunset. The painting is highly competent for this type of work and is signed in monogram though the artist is unidentified. The work is in excellent untouched condition with the board having been mounted on later card. The gilt frame is wonderful quality by a fine Parisian frame maker and is in good condition with some odd minor repairs. The whole has a great country house look and is ready to hang. C.1880.

We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf.
